enniscorthyguardian

A case involving a man now living in Dublin but who formerly lived in Enniscorthy was struck out in court last week because the prosecution didn’t have a witness available in court.

Dimitri Nacu, Apt 6, Curragh Hall House, Curragh Hall Crescent, Dublin 15, and formerly of Fear An Chnoic, The Paddocks, Enniscorthy, faced charges of assault and with having a knife with a blade that was sharply pointed, at the Enniscorthy address on September 16, 2021.

Inspector Syl Hipwell told Judge John Cheatle there was no witness available in court and said the case could be struck out.

Solicitor, John O’Donovan then asked if the case could be dismissed but added that a strike out was OK.
