Murphy’s Barn on the Newline Road in Wexford will host an inaugural Christmas Craft Event, showcasing leading local makers on Saturday and Sunday, November 27 and 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Curated by Patricia Howard, of Wexford Craft Trail and The Potter’s Yard, the event will bring members of Wexford Craft Trail and new local makers together.
Included will be basket work from Island Willow, dainty fine jewellery from New Ross Maker Annette, pure beeswax candles from The Potter’s Yard, weavings reflecting the rich colours of the landscape from Terry the Weaver, tasty treats from The Truffle Patch, walking sticks by Pat Walsh and stunning garden sculptures created on the Hook by David Kennedy’s Stained Glass Studios.
A raffle in aid of Wexford Women’s Refuge will be held, with the draw taking place on Sunday.
There is no admission charge and parking is free.
