THE biggest celebration of traditional Irish music and culture in the world is set to descend on Wexford town with Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann to take to the streets from August 4 to 11, 2024.

While every street and laneway will be filled with the very finest traditional music, the official events and competitions are slated to take place in 18 different venues across town.

The biggest of the venues is one that does not yet exist. A large “dome" type venue will be specially constructed on Wexford Quay for the Fleadh, carrying a capacity of 1,800 to 2,000 people.
