Duiske Abbey is back to its usual opening times, with weekend Mass on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. and Mass week days at 10 a.m. except Saturdays.
The numbers drawn in the Graig GAA and Highview Athletic lotto draw on May 10 were 16, 22, 24, 25. There was no jackpot winner. Each of the following won €30 each: Stephen Moylen, Richard Watson, Eimear & Orlaith Ryan, Marie Hanlon, Helen Ryan. Tickets available from any club member. Jackpot now stands at €20,000 and Reserve Jackpot at €11,850.

Graig Tidy Towns draw
Winners in the draw on May 26 were: 1st Prize Betty Foley €361, 2nd Prize Audrey & Ward €50, 3rd Prize Liam Maher €25. Draw takes place each Thursday at 4 p.m.
Duiske College wish to congratulate past-pupils Ted Dunne and Pierce Blanchfield who were part of the Kilkenny under-20 hurling team who won the All-Ireland with a win over Limerick by one point with a score Kilkenny 0-19 Limerick 0-18. Well done.
A Mass for those sitting the Junior & Leaving Certificate Exams in June will take place in Ballykelly Church on Saturday 4th June at 6pm. All students and their families are welcome to attend. There will be light refreshments in Ballykelly hall afterwards for the students and their families.
The Intermediate footballers will meet either Bannow/Ballymitty or Ballyhogue in the Div. 2 League Final on weekend June 12th. The Intermediate A hurlers completed their league campaign last Sunday and will be in action this weekend in the Foxe Cup.
Coiste na nOg
Results; Under 13 Div. 5 football team lost 5-2 to 4-6 away to St. Mary’s Maudlintown while the Div. 3 team was beaten 6-5 to 1-2 in Adamstown. The under 17 footballers qualified for the Div, 2 tournament final beating Marshalsrown 3-10 to 1-7. Rosban beat the under 15 footballers 3-8 to 1-11. The under 13 hurlers play away to Kilmore next Tuesday, while the under 15 and 17’s have a break due to state exams.
Trip to Knock
There will be a one day coach trip to Knock Shrine on Sunday July 3rd for the Ferns Diocesan Day Pick-up Points Wellingtonbridge, Ramsgrange, Campile, and New Ross. Fare €65 including two meals contact details Nicholas Bowe phone mobile 087 9418661.
A clothes collection will take place on Wednesday 15th June. Bags can be left in to Horeswood GAA Complex before 8pm. All reusable, clothes, hats, scarves, handbags and paired footwear will be welcome. No duvets, cushions, pillows, toys or teddies can be accepted. Thank you for your support.

Parent and Toddler Group

Fusion Youth Café
Fusion Café continues to open for fifth and sixth class primary school pupils on Mondays and Tuesdays at South West Wexford Family Resource Centre, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and for Secondary School students on Wednesdays, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
This is your chance to make friends, play games and have fun. We are also a summer Camp and some activity workshops in July so keep an eye on our Facebook page for the latest updates. We have a small tuckshop with a limited variety of snacks available and for a small charge of €2, secondary school pupils can be dropped home afterwards. Free Bike Maintenance/Road Safety Workshop.
A hands on workshop covering various aspects of bike maintenance and road safety. Cycling is a great activity for all the family because not only is it fun to do together, it is also a great way of keeping fit and getting fresh air. This is a chance to be fully prepared by making sure your bikes are road ready and learn some top safety tips. The workshop will be held at the SWWFRC and will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21. We welcome adults and children – but each child must be accompanied by one adult. Terrerath Community Fun Day
There will be a family fun day on Sunday, June 12, at the Terrerath Community Centre – Y34 AO27. The event is starting at midday and the official opening of the new gym will take place at 12.30 p.m. We will have a load of craft stalls selling locally made goods, a Tug-o-war competition, wellie throwing, dog show, Kids’ disco, and lots more.
Fethard Country Market
Our next Country Market will take place on Saturday, June 4, in St Mary’s Hall, Fethard. This will be your opportunity to buy fresh local produce and a wide variety of crafts and gifts. The market opens from 10.30 a.m. to midday, and we will have the usual mix of delicious baking, fresh eggs, jams, chutneys, chocolate, creative crafts and plants. Our members will give you a warm welcome and we are really looking forward to seeing everyone again, so please come along and say hello.
Duncannon Beach Market
The Beach Market will be back again this summer. It is planned to open every Sunday in June from 10.30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays during July and August from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from 10.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

St James GAA
Well done to Matthew O’Hanlon and the Wexford Hurling team on their great win over Kilkenny.
Hard luck to Kevin, Robbie and Darragh and the Wexford Football team in Tailteann Cup beaten by a strong Offaly team. Don’t forget the club barn dance on Saturday, June 4, next in Nolan’s of Clonsharragh Tickets can be bought on entry and the cost is €10 per ticket. This is sure to be a great night so don’t miss it.
Hooked on the Sea Festival
This festival will run across the peninsula over the June Bank Holiday weekend. Loads of fun things to do at the Hook Lighthouse, including a barbecue, lawn games, and a possibly even a visit by pirates.
Other activities in the area include paddle boarding, boat trips on the estuary, local produce picnics, foraging and sea themed children’s events.
Active Retirement Group
As bit of a change, we are going to see ‘Happy Birthday Alice’ a comedy drama at the Opera House in Wexford on June 2 This is an evening trip and the drama has had a great write up.
We have a planned a half day trip to Johnstown Castle and Kilmore Quay on June 22 Pick – ups at Ramsgrange at 10 a.m. and then Wellingtonbridge. We have further trip booked on July 20 to Kilmeaden and lunch at Jack Meade’s. Pick up at Ramsgrange at 11.15 a.m.
There are still one or two places left on the holiday to Castlebar from September 19 to September 23 and we welcome new members and non-members to join us. Our next meeting is on June 13 at 2 p.m. at the SWWFRC. We will have a solicitor to speak to us about the importance of making a will no matter how old you are and ensuring that someone knows where your instructions are recorded.
