€4,165 was raised for Pieta House from this year's Brian Fortune Memorial Run in Glenmore.

The third annual Brian Fortune Memorial Tractor Run saw over 50 tractors drive in convoy to Slieverue and back, while around 15 cars made the trip to Kilkenny, before returning to the Glen Bar.

"It was a great day. The rain held off, we were absolutely blessed," said Brian's sister, Debbie.

She said the family were overwhelmed by the community response again this year.

Brian died in tragic circumstances in 2014 and the Tractor Run was set up to both preserve his memory and to raise money for some good causes.

Debbie said the family feel so humbled by the support they have received.

Plans are already underway for next year's run on June 25, 2023.
