GET a fill of drama this week as shows take place nightly in Gorey and Inch.
Gorey Little Theatre presents its One Night Drama festival, with three plays taking place each night from Wednesday, November 17, to Saturday, November 20.
Meanwhile, Coolgreany Amateur Dramatic Society’s One Act Drama Festival will also take place from Wednesday, November 17 to Saturday, November 20 at St Mogue’s Hall, Inch.
Kilmuckridge Drama Group will take to the stage in Gorey on Wednesday, alongside Gaggin Drama Group and Kilrush Drama Group.
To give a flavour of the plays in store, in Inch, Wexford’s Camross Drama Group will be performing ‘Semblance of Madness’ by John H. Newmeir, with Shankill’s Martello Productions performing ‘Something Unspoken’ by Tennessee Williams, on Wednesday.
On Thursday in Gorey, Camross Drama Group present ‘Semblance of Madness’, while Balally Players will perform ‘Bedbound’, before the night concludes with ‘Something Unspoken’ by Martello Productions.
Tickets for the drama festival in Gorey will be available on the door or online at www.gr8events.ie, Prices are €12 per night, or €40 for all four nights.
For Inch, tickets cost €10 per night, or €25 for four nights, and are available at the door or book by phoning 087 7725641.
Audience members must wear face masks in the theatre, with refreshments served at intervals. Covid Certs and ID are also required.
