People from the Craanford community and beyond got a glimpse back in time at a vintage threshing day organised by Craanford Heritage Society recently.

Seven vintage combines were brought out for a spin at an event that aimed to showcase some of the traditional machinery and methods at work. According to Matt Doyle of the Craanford Heritage Society, the event drew a large crowd, many of whom were excited to see the return of the event.

The Vintage Threshing Day served as a fundraiser for Friends of Gorey Hospital. Over €9,000 was raised through the event, with donations still coming in.

The Craanford Heritage Society wishes to thank everyone who came out and supported the event.
