CRAANFORD-MONASEED
Mental health talk
Ms Barbara Brennan from the See Change programme will give a talk and a presentation in the complex on Wednesday, July 6, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. regarding the See Change Programme and its work helping to end mental health stigma and discrimination. This is part of our involvement with the #onegoodclub initiative in association with Lidl, LGFA and JigsawYMH.
Ring of Kerry cycle
Well done to Jim Hempenstall, Patrick Doyle and Diarmuid Kinsella, who took on the Ring of Kerry cycle in aid of cancer research. What an achievement.
Bingo
Bingo is played in Craanford Community Centre every Friday night at 8 p.m. Please come along and support.
GAA club news
Well done to camogie ladies who won co. Junior league semi-final 1-13 to 2-05 against Kilross Gaels and are now in the County final on July 18. Well done to the under-12 camogie girls on their win over Oulart.
Cúl Camp is on from July 25 to July 29 in Craanford, covering football for boys and girls and hurling and camogie.

Used stamps for the Missions – Again a big thank you to the people in Craanford and Monaseed for their ongoing support for the Missions by putting their stamps in the boxes in the porches in both churches. A reminder to take off the stamps, leaving around 1.5cms around the stamp, from their envelopes and put them in the box in the church porches.

Ballyfad ICA
Our Summer outing is on Wednesday 13th July visiting Johnstown Castle for tour of Castle, Farm Museum and gardens, A mystery tour in the afternoon and finishing up with dinner at Mary Barry’s restaurant (cost of meal not included. Ballyfad Patron
Ballyfad patron and field will take place on Sunday 17th July with prayers starting at 1.30 p.m. the field day will start immediately after the patron, field day tickets are now on sale please contact Philomena O’Toole on 087 9733450 all support greatly appreciated.
Limbrick Cemetery
Thanks to everyone who kindly contributed to the collection at the patron. The amount collected was €2,843.27 which will go to the upkeep of the cemetery. Thanks to everybody who helped out on the day with car parking, readings, choir and special thanks to our CSS scheme workers who continue to look after the cemetery throughout the year
Flower Festival
The inaugural Kilanerin Flower festival will take place from 23rd to 25th September 2022.
The festival which is being coordinated by local parishioner Margaret Woodbyrne will involve decorating our community and church grounds with over 100 colourful floral displays and arrangements. The theme for the festival is the Circle of Life and displays will explore life, culture and the physical landscape of North Wexford.
Families and friends of the parish are being given the opportunity to sponsor a floral arrangement, This could be done in memory of a loved one, a special friend or as a special intention. Friends Of Ukraine
Friends of Ukraine Kilmuckridge offer support in many ways to the visiting families in the area. Alongside the English classes delivered by Ita and Pauline.
With the arrival of summer the project ‘Walk and Talk’ will be rolled out and volunteers are needed. If you have time to spare, this is a lovely way to get out and about and chat with the families.
The second project is a singing project where local and Ukrainian singers come together to sing and learn about each other’s cultures.It will involve weekly singing classes in both languages and a Cultural night where each group will perform. A good night’s entertainment is guaranteed alongside food, dress and of course ‘craic’.

Castle Delights Cafe Morriscastle are celebrating 15 years in business this year and will host a Coffee Day on Saturday, July 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. All money raised on the day will be donated to the Hope Cancer Support Centre.

St Vincent de Paul will take up the annual summer Appeal at all Masses on the weekend of July 16 and the 17th 2022 – thank you for your generous support in the past and look forward to your continued support in the future.
