Gorey-based jewellery designer Áine Breen will team up with Network Ireland for an event aimed at linking local people and sharing success stories.

The upcoming Networking Evening will take place at Lu & Mol jewellery shop on Gorey’s Esmonde Street on Wednesday, May 24. At the event, guests will have the opportunity to hear Áine’s business story. Originally a chartered accountant, Áine Breen turned to jewellery design while living in Beijing, where she studied both Chinese calligraphy and silversmithing. Having successfully made her jewellery from her workshop in Ballymoney, selling online at www.liwujewellery.com, she opened a physical store on Esmonde Street earlier this year. A “treasure trove” of jewellery and gifts, Lu & Mol is named after the designer’s two young daughters.

On the evening, guests will also have the chance to learn more about Network Ireland Wexford and the benefits of becoming a member. Network Ireland is a non-profit, voluntary organisation, with over 1,000 members and fourteen branches, with the Wexford branch being the most recently-established. The organisation is aimed at supporting the professional and personal development of women.

There will be discounts and refreshments on the evening. As capacity is limited, attendees are asked to register early via Eventbrite for this free event. The evening will run from 6.30 p.m. until 8.30 p.m.
