Following an extremely success Tractor Run fundraiser in recent weeks, proud students at Coláiste Bhríde recently presented the proceeds of the event to Jigsaw’s Wicklow branch.

The annual event, which this year saw 30 tractors roll out of the school gates, raised an impressive €1,650 for the charity. On Thursday, staff and students from the school gathered to present this to Jigsaw representative Nicky Russell.

Always a much-loved event in the local calendar, the Coláiste Bríde tractor run was organised by students in conjunction with Mr Gleeson. Organised as part as WellFest 2023 – an immersive outdoor health and wellness festival with events in Dublin and London – the event had student wellbeing at its core as all funds were raised for Jigsaw Wicklow. This mental health organisation provides support and counselling to students across the region.

Following an extremely successful community day and fundraiser, a spokesperson for Coláiste Bhríde offered their congratulations to all of the students “for helping to raise money and more importantly, awareness for mental health issues”.
