Bree AC International Success
Congratulations to Bree AC athlete Paddy O’Leary who finished in 5th place in the Inter-Celtic Mountain Running Championships at Trial de Guerledan, France. Paddy was a member of the Irish team which won the Bronze Medals.

Ben Mulhall Memorial Park AGM
The Ben Mulhall Memorial Park Committee’s AGM took place on Wednesday, June 15. A special thanks to the committee and to all volunteers, sponsors and donators over the past year who have supported the park, plus all worked tremendously hard to meet the Covid-19 requirements.
A special mention to one of our key contributors and Assistant secretary to the Ben Mulhall Park, Assistant secretary Christina Moran who passed away in 2021. Her contributions to this Committee (and other committees) have been outstanding and she is deeply missed.
The committee also welcomed new members who joined during 2021 and their new role has been a great contribution to the park. Thank you to Sinéad Gray, vice-chairperson and Breda Murphy, secretary for all their hard work during past few years as key committee members.

House of Song and Story
The House of Song and Story will be held at Osbornes, Clonegal on Tuesday, June, 28 at 8 p.m.
There was no winner or online winner of the Kildavin-Clonegal GAA and Ben Mulhall Park lotto draw of €10,000. Numbers drawn were 9, 17, 23 and 25. Weavers’ Cottages Museum
Come and visit the Weavers’ Cottages Museum which were once the home of local weavers dating back to the 17th century and now houses many artefacts of the cottage weaving industry. Bishop Ger Nash will visit our parish and speak at all Masses in Ballindaggin, Kiltealy and Caim next weekend June 25th/26th.
After 7pm Mass in Kiltealy light refreshments will be served in the Wood Hub Garden immediately after Mass, weather permitting, or in the Community Hall. After 11.30 am Mass in Ballindaggin refreshments will be served in the Community Hall. This will be an opportunity for all parishioners to meet and talk with Bishop Ger.
Kiltealy Church, parochial house and parish office have been given a much needed face lift over the past few weeks with a new coat of paint. Additional structure work to seal the church eaves with fascia and soffit has also been completed.
Social dancing in Kiltealy Hall this Friday night June 24th with music by Peter Burke. Dancing from 9.30pm to 12 midnight. Refreshments served. A great social night out.
Amanda Scallan has recently taken up the position of games promotion officer with Duffry Rovers. Amanda has been busy coaching in the three parish schools as well as running workshops with the club’s underage coaches. Kiltealy NS clothes collection
Kiltealy school will have a used clothes collection on Monday morning next June 27th. The school shelter is open all this week during school hours to facilitate dropping off bags of clothes. Templeshanbo Parish is holding a coffee morning, raffle and bring and buy sale in The Parish Hall, Templeshanbo on Friday July 8th from 10 am to 12 noon to raise funds for the refugee community from Ukraine currently living in Enniscorthy. Your support would be appreciated.
Kiltealy Patron/Field Day
Plans are well underway to make this year’s Patron and field day a huge community success when it returns to the traditional slot of the first Sunday in August which this year falls on August 7th. There will be a community meeting early in July to put all the preparations in place. Details to follow later.
