Ballymote native Michael Lavin sealed a transfer deadline day move to Ipswich Town’s Under 21s, alongside two other Irish players.
The 18-year-old was previously an academy player with Sligo Rovers.
Daniel O’Connor, also a midfielder has joined from Galway United while Leon Ayinde, a forward, has completed the switch from Cork City.
Lavin joined Rovers from Ballymote Celtic in 2018 when he signed for the club’s Under 15 team.
He is the younger brother of Jack Lavin who captained the Sligo Under 20s to Connacht glory in 2022.
