Swim club at Irish Open

Sligo Swimming Club had 6 swimmers competing at the 2018 Irish Open Swimming Championships last week.

The club didn't win any individual medals, however they did win Bronze in the mixed 4x100m Medley Relay.

The swimmers were Carrie McDaid (backstroke), Jade Murphy (breaststroke), Ronan Anderson (butterfly) and Eanna O'Hara (freestyle).

15-year-old Wicktoria Weinert qualified for the junior final of the 200m breaststroke and swam an impressive time of 2:55.52 to finish in 8th place.
