Racing action this Tuesday evening

The third racing fixture of the year will take place in Cleveragh on Tuesday June 18th with a 7 Card Flat Meeting.

With an approximate start time is 5.40 pm, the feature race of the evening is the 7.40 'Bet with Tote for convenience' Rated Race of €20,000.

Kathryn Foley Racecourse Manager said: "We are delighted to invite Tote Ireland to Sligo on the evening as our main sponsor.

"In a recent visit to the track Ross Kierans the General Manager of Tote Ireland commended Sligo Racecourse for it's excellent facilities and the overall appealing nature of the enclosure and race track.

"Without any doubt the most scenic racecourse in Ireland with it's magnificent backdrop of Benbulben.

"Both Ross and Michael Cummins, Marketing Manager of the Tote are both looking forward to being here to celebrate with Sligo Races Supporters Club on Tuesday next.

"This Special Evening for the Members of Sligo Races Supporters Club has been organised in appreciation of their loyal support.

"The event will take place in the Cleveragh Suite on the first floor of the Grandstand Building.

"Members will receive a welcome pack at the AIR turnstile on entry.

"If a member wishes to bring a guest there is a small charge of €10 to avail of the guest package which will include a hot buffet and drinks. "The food will be served at 6.30pm. We look forward to seeing all of our members on the evening," Kathryn added.
