Cloonacool out in force for fundraiser
The East versus West rivalry was to the fore once more in Cloonacool for the annual charity match on St Stephen's Day.
The popular event was held in Cloonacool Community Park and the charity match was played on a beautiful winter's day.
Current players, former coaches and managers gave their all in a very competitive game to keep the big home crowd entertained. Referee Darren Heneghan who kept a tight rein on proceedings throughout did not have to issue a card of any colour during the course of the game.
All the proceeds went Diabetes Ireland.
The East wearing the club colours came out on top at the end. The winning trophy was presented to captain Ronnie Leonard by his brother club secretary Fergus,
The club wish to sincerely thank all the players and the many supporters who turned out on the day for their great generosity once again.
