NW Simon helped 371 people last year

The Annual Sleep Out in aid of North West Simon Community will take place on Fri, 4th Oct in Sligo. The event is part of Simon Week which is an awareness campaign nationally taking place from Mon 30th Sept to Sun 6th Oct.

The number of homeless people has now reached a "record high" and while rough sleeping represents the severest form of homelessness, the majority of people who are homeless or experiencing homelessness in Sligo, Leitrim & Donegal are not immediately identifiable as homeless.

In 2018, North West Simon Community provided supported housing, tenancy support, and settlement services, to a total of 371 people, 200 adults and 171 children. The number of households in each county was 45 in Sligo, 50 in Leitrim and 57 in Donegal.

Each participate will receive a certificate.Once a participant signs up and meets the fundraising team they will receive a fundraising pack which will provide details of the event and include a Sponsorship Card.
