A Garda raid on a house in Tubbercurry on Friday uncovered a sophisticated cannabis growhouse operation.
Two bedrooms in a house at the Fairways housing estate in Tubbercurry had been converted for the growing of cannabis plants.
In all, Gardaí removed 41 plants from the house estimated to be valued at €32,800. The house was searched at around 7.30pm.
Gardaí say it was an intelligence led operation.
One man was arrested and he was brought to Ballymote Garda Station for questioning.
The Polish national was subsequently brought before a Special Sitting of Sligo District Court on Saturday evening where he was charged with the sale or supply of drugs. He was remanded on bail to a court in June.
