Man (30) charged with assault causing harm

Case adjourned for the purpose of a new charge

A 30 year old man before Judge Deirdre Gearty at Sligo District Court on Thursday had his case adjourned for a week for a production order for the purpose of a new charge.

Ivan Gethins of Garavogue Villas was charged with assaulting Jake Downey causing him harm.

The alleged offence is said to have occurred at Caltragh Crescent on November 28th 2020.

Sergeant Derek Butler indicated that there was a production order for a new charge.

Judge Gearty adjourned the matter to this Thursday’s district court.

Mr Mark Mullaney (solicitor) appeared on behalf of the defendant.
