Correspondent: Ann-Marie Doherty, Rosses Point. THE ROSSES Point beach has once against been awarded the European Commission Blue Flag award for a safe and pollution free beach.

PARENTS who propose enrolling their child/children at Rosses Point National School in Rosses Point for September, 2004, should please contact the school principal as soon as possible for enrolment forms and details.

THE Rosses Point annual Mackerel Festival, 2004 will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend. In conjunction with the festival as last year, the art exhibition entitled, Sligo, Land and Sea will be held. It will run from the 27th July to the 10th August and will be held at Coda Restaurant. THE Sligo Bay Lifeboat Gift Show, which is located at the Lifeboat Station in Rosses Point will be open each Saturday morning from 11.00am to 1.00pm. Please support.
