GEEVAGH N.S. have entered a competition in the Irish Independent through their "Building for the Future" promotion. They have to collect tokens from the Irish and Sunday Independent and once again they are looking for your support. The project entered is based on the life of Patrick J. He went on to become Mayor of Providence, Rhode Island in 1906 and again in 1907. He died in 1921 aged 73.

PLEASE keep our area tidy especially now as we head towards the summer season. Obviously with all the building development going on in the area it will be more difficult in the short term, but small things like bringing home the sweet papers instead of just throwing them on the roadside would be a big help. Cans can be deposited in the recycling bin in the car park. We should all try and impress on our children the importance of being tidy and of having pride in our area.
