An Irish and Salsa Summer Dance Sensation this August aims to raise vital funds for the North West Hospice.

Organised by Autoline Motor Factors Tubbercurry and Ballinlig National School Beltra, the event will look to help the Hospice towards it fundraising goal for the year.

Jigs n' Beats (Tubbercurry) together with Sligo Latin Dance (Venezuela) have come together to perform for the event.

The Show takes place Saturday 19th August at the Clayton Hotel. Doors open at 9.00pm.

There will be a mixture of Irish and Salsa Dancing with music from the 1970s to round off the night.

Ballinlig NS (a 26 pupil school) who produced and recorded a charity album with five enchanting songs for the LauraLynn foundation (children's hospice) will also be available on the night of the show.

Jigs N'Beats offers you a fabulous night of entertainment featuring numerous champion and World Champion dancers who have performed to audiences all over the world.

The group will showcase the best of traditional and modern styles of Irish Dance combining lively and uplifting traditional irish music that will have you tapping and clapping along.

Sligo Latin Dance (Loander and Jesus from Venezuela) came to Sligo in the summer of 2016.

Since then they have volunteered their time to help various organisations such as the Sligo Cancer Support Centre in Cliffoney and most recently Operation Transformation in Grange which was a great success. They may even give everyone a dance lesson to get us dancing salsa.

Tickets available online at or from the North West Hospice office on Wine Street Car Park, Gillespie's Menswear and Sport in Tubbercurry and Supervalu, Ballisodare.

Tickets also available at the door on the night of show.

This event would not be possible without the kind sponsorship of the Clayton Hotel.
