Cookery demo to raise funds for NW Simon
A Cookery Demo & Food Fair will take place on Thursday 7th March at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Rosses Point with doors open at 7.30pm.
The evening is guaranteed to be a wonderful mix of food, chat and banter as Joe Shannon Executive Head Chef at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa for the past 15 years, shares his culinary expertise and lots of useful tips. MC on the night will be Niall Canning and comedian Frank Forde.
Joe will demonstrate a range of easy to prepare home-cooked meals which are bound to suit all tastes. You will get an opportunity to taste some of the dishes.
Doors open at 7.30pm with a food fair displaying and selling an array of varied local products.
The North West Simon Community have a new charity shop at 4 JFK Parade in Sligo town and on the night a selection of pre-loved ladies clothes will be available to buy at very reasonable prices. All in all a great night promised to suit everyone.
With lots of prizes to be won in the raffle on the night you're guaranteed a wonderful "value for money" night out all in aid of local homeless charity North West Simon Community, a charity that strives to help communities and families struggling through poverty. Last year the charity prevented 184 people from becoming homeless in Sligo, Leitrim & Donegal.
