A BABY PICNIC will be held at Lissadell Beach, on Thursday May 20th @ 11 am. A fun filled morning for you and your baby. All family members welcome. Bring your own food and drink. UNITED: On Friday 30th April Maugherow United played an away game against Aclare Celtic in the quarter final of the Frank Kennedy Memorial Cup. They were successful beating Aclare by a score of 4 goals to 2. The team had no fixture last Sunday 9th May. Today, Wednesday 12th May, at 6.45pm in the semi-final of the Frank Kennedy Memorial Cup, they are at home to either Coolaney United or Grange United.

ARTS: The Maugherow Community Arts group will meet in the Carrigans Health Centre, between 10.30am and 1.00pm, tomorrow, Thursday 13th May.

GAA: On Monday 26th April, in the League Division 1-Section 1, St.Molaises Gaels Under16 team had a victory on over St.Farnan's by a score of 3-17 to 3-06. On Saturday, 1st May, in Senior League Division 2 the Senior team won against Castleconnor by 3-17 to 0-09. St.Molaises Gaels Minor team in the Minor League Division 2B were beaten by Drumcliffe/Rosses Point with a result of 003 to 3-8. In the U14 League Division 2 on Tuesday 27th April the St.Molaises Gaels beat Coolera/Strandhill by 2-21 to 1-4. On Friday 30th April the team were away to Curry and won their match by 4-9 to 6-9. Last Friday 7th May in the U14 League Division 2 Round 7 the team were away to Ballymote. On Saturday 8th May in Monsignor Hynes Park, Grange, in the Senior League Division 4 Round 7 St.Molaises Gaels played Ballymote. Last Sunday 9th May in the Senior League Division 2 Round 7 in Kilcoyne Park, Tubbercurry played St.Molaises Gaels.

SERVICES: On Sunday 16th May 2010 at 9.30am in the "Chapel of Ease", Munninane, a Morning Prayer Service will be held. A Holy Communion Service will be celebrated at 10.45am in Lissadell Church and at 12noon in Drumcliffe Church...
