We remember the very beginning of the Eastern Harps Club which was founded in 1973. We know that the facilities that we now enjoy have evolved over time since the beginning. We remember all those who were instrumental in bestowing hope from the formation of the club in 1973 to this present day.

We thank the Engineer Michael Rowley and the builder Tony Gormerly and all who have brought this good work to completion.

We thank the mothers, fathers, loyal supporters sponsors, donors of large and small amounts, but most of all the wonderful people who give their time for all associated with the club day in day out.

Schools closed for summer

Now that the school year is at an end, we thank our Teachers, Boards of management, Bus Drivers, Fr Gabriel, parents and all who help out in anyway with the running of our Schools. We of course thank the children for the positive energy they bring to our parish.

The schools are an integral part of our community and without them our parish would have a massive void. We wish every success to the children moving on to secondary school. Their presence in the local classrooms will be missed. We look forward to seeing the new children in September.

Church roof

The roof in Keash Church is in very poor condition, with water presently getting in. A report has been compiled on the roof, which has been uploaded to our parish website From the professional advice received, the parish is left with little or no choice but commit to this project. The roof project will soon go out to Tender. We need the people's support now more than ever and we ask people near and far to pray that that this project will reach a successful conclusion.
