Belated Thanks

Sincere thanks to all who gave of their time and energy, on Good Friday morning last, April 19, to assist with the annual spring clean of the Newtownmanor area. There was a good turn out and definitely the saying that, ''Many hands make light work'' proved to be true. The whole area was given a great tidy up and looks much the better for it. Hopefully the spring weather will now add to the beauty of the Manor by bringing forth an abundance of its natural flora and fauna.

As if to congratulate the work undertaken on Good Friday, The Cuckoo was heard on Easter Sunday evening by many, for the first time this year. Long may he sing.

25 Card Game

The Progressive 25 Card Game takes place each Friday in Newtownmanor Hall at 9 p.m.; The final Friday of cards this 'season' will be Friday, May 17. All card players are welcome and we are always keen for new members to come along. Why not sample a few weeks before the end of this 'season'?
