Now that things have settled down and the work has eased off since the Photograph Exhibition, it's time to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped over the last nine months. From the counting, sorting, scanning, naming, typing to preparing the hall for the event... thank you... and to all those who helped out over the weekend. It would never have worked out only for all the help and encouragement we got along the way. It was a huge success and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We are delighted to say that between takings on the door, raffle and donations given before and after the exhibition, to date we have raised €4,210.

One of Manorhamilton's newest businesses, Caz-Cards recently celebrated a decade in operation in town's newest street, namely Sráid Sheáin Mhic Dhiarmada, where a very exciting and colourful children's party took place.
Caroline Ward the business owner made a brave decision 10 years ago when she set up her new shop in what then was Lower Main Street at a period of time when Ireland, and indeed most of the rest of the world was hit by a major economic crash.
Reflecting on that time Ms Ward said on Saturday that she 'knew Caz-Cards had the potential to survive the economic downturn as long as it stayed committed to developing the business and transforming the little shop into something special for its customers.
'We are a business that began in the recession in 2008.' Caroline added that she 'has three of the friendliest and hardest working employees who all love their work. We love to have fun, yes we work hard but on most days we are surrounded by laughter.'.
