Jazz Festival will have top class artists
There is an excellent array of music to look forward to at the upcoming Sligo Jazz Festival which runs from 23rd to 28th with guests from around the world coming to the Northwest for the much-lauded festival.
The hugely popular jazz festival, which is organised by Eddie Lee, was officially launched last Wednesday evening in Andersons.
David Lyttle's Trio featuring the Murray Brothers were the musicians at the launch.
The festival sees a mix of seasoned performers and some of the most precocious young jazz talent in the world performing across Sligo.
Artists from the USA, Italy, Slovakia, Brazil, Australia, Germany, Ireland, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be gracing the Hawks Well Theatre and many other Sligo venues over the week.
The legendary jam sessions have moved house this year, to Andersons, at 6pm each evening and 10pm each night, you'll be able to witness a spectacular array of jazz talent of all ages.
This year's festival club will feature a band and jam session each night.
There is so much going on with workshops, festival club and so many performances not to be missed.
