Sligo Rovers’ Annual General Meeting is set to take place on Wednesday, March 29th at 7.30pm at the Aurivo auditorium at ATU Sligo.
Members are being notified this week.
The AGM can also be viewed on Zoom for those who cannot attend on the night.
Those wishing to attend the meeting via Zoom will need to contact colinfeehilysrfc@hotmail.com by Monday, March 27th.
The club’s AGM will hear details of the club’s activity over the last year, while those in attendance will also be furnished with the club’s financial accounts.
The AGM in 2022 was largely positive, with the club’s finances from 2021 in a very strong position heading into the new season.
We learned at the meeting that Rovers’ income from streaming in 2021 amounted to around €51,000, and with production costs taken into account, the club made a profit of around €32,000.
There was also great praise for the club after it was revealed that sponsorship from gambling companies had been turned down on a number of occasions.
Full details of the AGM will be published in The Sligo Champion.
