It's not too often that a band that's sold over 20 million albums rolls into Wexford, but that's exactly what's set to happen as Californian rockers The Calling have confirmed at show at The Crown Live for March 7, 2020.

The band exploded into life in 2001 with their smash hit 'Wherever You Will Go' which reached the top of the charts and stayed there for a record 23 weeks straight. The band enjoyed seven number one songs worldwide and their anthem was named the 'Number One Song of the Decade' and the 'Number Three Adult Pop Song of All Time' by Billboard Magazine. It has featured in a whole host of movies and TV shows including 'Love Actually', 'Coyote Ugly', 'Smallville' and many more.

The band's debut album 'Camino Palermo' was an international hit, becoming certified gold and or platinum in over 40 countries. Their second album, 'Two', found its groove internationally, going number one in the UK, Japan, Brazil and Canada.

Tickets for the show went on sale on Friday and a quick sell out was anticipated. For more details, visit www.live.crownbar.ie.

The Blizzards have also confirmed a special show for The Crown Live on Friday, November 22. Tickets are €20 from ticketweb and the website.
