Musicians from Bannow CCÉ had a very successful weekend at this year's Leinster Fleadh which took place in Athboy, Co Meath.

The U12 céilí band and the U15 grúpaí ceoil were crowned Leinster champions at the event joining the U18 trio provincial champions Diarmaid Murphy, Caoimhe and Kayleigh Moran.

In addition to their success many other members of the organisation also qualified for the all-Ireland fleadh which will be held in Drogheda later this month.

The branch members are very busy at the moment and are currently performing their summer seisiún show in Coast, Rosslare, every Tuesday night at 8.30 p.m.

Admission to the shows each week is €5 with children getting in free-of-charge.

The weekly show includes a selection of music, song and dance with the audience getting top class entertainment each week.

During the second half of the show the audience members are actively encouraged to participate and join in with the musicians.
