Students of Ann Marie Cooney Stage school performed two sizzling summer showcases in St Michael's Theatre recently, entertaining packed houses during an afternoon and evening performance.

Class 1 sparkled dancing to Fireflies and Happy, also reciting a poem and singing beautifully. The boys danced to Shape of You and I'm Still Standing, and also did a piece from Bugsy Malone.

Class 3 performed a drama piece called click clack moo, as well as dancing to Symphony and Strangers. Class 4 did a wonderful job on performing Oliver and dancing to Mama and Wolves.

Class 5 dazzled with a piece from Matilda and dance with great style to Power and Thunder, while the Masterclass danced to New Rules and Believer. The Seniors were wonderful in their performances o0fHuman and Mr Saxobeat, while the solo and groups singing was a particular highlight of the show. Philip Kennedy was MC at the event and did a fantastic job.

The drama and singing teacher was the talented Niamh Cullen who worked wonderfully with the students.

Anne-Marie would like to thank Paul Malone on lights Sean O'Brien on sound and all past pupils and parents who helped out.
