Belly laughs in store at Horeswood musical

Rehearsals are in full swing, lines learned and finishing touches being put to costumes and the set, as Horeswood Musical Society gets ready to present 'Sister Act, A Divine Musical Comedy'. With a cast of 77 from 7 to 19 years of age, the cast and choruses are excited to bring this fun, colourful and most entertaining production to Campile Hall, on Thursday, April 12, Friday, April 13, Saturday, April 14 at 8 p.m., and on Sunday, April 15 at 7 p.m.

Horeswood Musical Society are known for the quality of their productions, having brought magic and great drama to Campile on many occasions over recent years, including during production runs of King and I in 2016 and Peter Pan last year, to packed houses.

Producer Catherine Power, ably assisted by Aisling Doyle and Sabrina Hanrahan, have worked hard with the cast and choruses over the past few months to ensure a fun-filled, exciting production.

This year the musical society are donating part of the profits to Special Olympics, Wexford.

Horeswood Musical Society spokesperson Elmar Whelan said: 'So come and join us in Campile Hall as we 'Raise our Voices' and 'Spread the Love Around'', during thoroughly entertaining shows.

Admission is €10 for adults, €7 for children and students. A family ticket for four people for €30. The booking number is 086 0703257.
