The beauty of Co Wexford was well and truly preached in London recently as representatives of Monart Destination Spa travelled across for a special business to business (B2B) tourism workshop. The 'Flavours of Ireland' event saw tourism companies from right across Ireland travel to the English capital to meet and do business with around 100 top UK inbound tour operators.

Now in its 16th year, Flavours of Ireland aims to grow our share of the huge worldwide travel market. Attended by UK inbound tour operators who bring business to Ireland and the UK from all over the world this event was an excellent opportunity for companies such as Monart and the Griffin Group to highlight and sell their product and to encourage these decision makers to feature the island of Ireland in their 2019 holiday and tour programmes.

CEO of Tourism Ireland Niall Gibbons said they hoped to provide a boost for places like Co Wexford through these types of events. 'Tourism Ireland is delighted that so many Irish tourism organisations and leading UK inbound tour operators took the time to join us at our 'Flavours' event again this year,' he said. 'We very much welcome the business and networking opportunities it presented. Our aim is to increase awareness of Co Wexford and Ireland's Ancient East among these hugely influential tour operators and to help Ireland and our tourism partners secure a greater share of the huge worldwide tourism market.'
