Tickets now on sale to win €400k house in Maynooth

The past, present and future of Wexford hurling were present at the Faythe Harriers clubhouse as Mayor of Wexford Cllr George Lawlor officially collected his ticket as part of the club's massive 'Win the House' fundraiser.

All-Ireland winner from 1996, Larry O'Gorman, co-captain of the Senior Leinster-winning side Lee Chin and captain of the Minor Leinster-winning side Richie Lawlor were all present to promote the initiative, which offers punters the opportunity to win a brand new home worth €405,000 in Maynooth, Co Kildare.

Tickets are priced at €100 each and since its launch, the initiative has gained some major attention with Larry O even making an appearance on 'The Six O'Clock Show' on Virgin Media to promote it.

As well as being heralded for their abilities on the hurling field Larry and Lee Chin also form the basis of a new comedy duo in a series of hilarious promotional videos that have gone viral.

The house involved is a three bed semi-detached home in Carton Wood, Maynooth. Just 15 minutes' drive from Dublin, the house is due for completion in October of this year.

The €100 tickets are available at with all proceeds going towards the development of the Faythe Harriers clubhouse.

The draw will take place on December 31, 2019.

'This is the club that developed me as a player and gave me the opportunity to play for my county,' Chin said. 'I'm looking forward to seeing these facilities being developed, particularly for the young people of Wexford town.'
