St Louis Day Care Centre received a very generous donation of €1,253.80 recently from the family of Eithne Dunne who attends the centre.

Eithne's daughter Caroline and her grandchildren Holly and Liam did a sponsored steps challenge.

Caroline and her children Holly and Liam live in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England. The task they took on was to walk in steps in their own home the distance from their home in Stevenage to their mother and grandmother's home in Killesk, Campile, which is 666,000 steps or 341 miles.

The money was donated to St Louis Day Care Centre towards the ongoing fundraiser for the replacement of the existing mini bus. All of Eithne's family, including her husband, two sons, sisters, grandchildren arrived at the centre on Wednesday, August 23, with Eithne to hand over the money raised.

All of the family greatly appreciate the services provided in St Louis Day Care Centre and the service of the mini bus which collects and drops home Eithne.

St Louis Day Care Centre are greatly appreciative of the generosity of Eithne's family and the great effort made by them to raise such a large sum of money.
