Pat launching second book on Ross GAA
Former Wexford goalkeeper Pat Nolan has finished his authoritative second book on the subject of the GAA in New Ross from 1910 to 2010.
Pat was part of the 1968 All-Ireland winning Wexford Senior hurling side. He launched first his book, 'No Short Cuts To The Top', in 2013 and it has been sent all around the world to Wexford fans.
Pat has worked very hard on the book in recent years, collecting photographs and researching the history of the real beautiful game in the county.
Pat played for the Geraldine O'Hanrahan GAA Club and with the county team bringing great glory to Wexford in the 1960s. The book recalls the GAA heroics of players like Sean O'Kennedy, Gus Kennedy, Mick Morrissey, Tom Neville, Jimmy O'Brien, Ned Colfer and many more, who hail from a strong GAA town.
Pat is launching his book on August 18 at the Three Bullet Gate pub at 8.30 p.m. and everyone is welcome to come along.
