The smallest of farmhands were given some all important safety lessons recently as Zurich Insurance joined forces with AgriKids to host a special farm safety workshop at Kehoe Farming in Foulksmills.

AgriKids has been an extremely successful initiative aimed at engaging, educating and empowering children to become fully fledged farm safety ambassadors. It encourages discussions with little ones about potential sources of danger around the farm, including machinery, animals, slurry pits, water holes and rivers and toxic substances.

Zurich are delighted to support the initiative and over the last four years, the farm safety message has been shared with more than 20,000 children.

To mark this milestone and the Z Zurich Foundation coming to Ireland, the company joined with AgriKids to meet with kids in Foulksmills to educate and inspire the next generation of farmers. It was a great success and Zurich thanked Willie Kehoe, Doyle Mahon Insurance Brokers and all kids and parents who attended on the day.
