Fashionable club raise €5,500 at fundraiser

Tullogher Camogie Club hosted a packed fashion show fundraiser in the Rhu Glenn Hotel recently, raising €5,500 for the club.

Club spokesperson Louise Tobin said the night - which was attended by 450 people - featured fantastic fashion from boutiques and clothes shops across county.

A presentation was made to past player Biddy Sullivan for her outstanding camogie achievements, including winning eight All Ireland medals.

Ms Tobin said 'The fundraiser was a huge success and will go a long way in running the club this year. The club would like to say thank you for helping us achieve this and they hope you enjoyed the occasion.'

The club would like to thank the models, the parish choir, the 'Spice Girls' and their choreographer, the sponsors, escorts and MC. 'Thanks to the sound and lighting team, the make-up artists and hairdressers, stage builders, photographer, ticket sellers and backroom team, and most importantly to all who attended making the fashion show a huge success. Thanks to the Rhu Glenn and their staff for the use of their superb venue. Thanks to all the shops for lending the their beautiful clothing.
