Death of Liam Leahy causes great sadness

Wexford has been shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Liam Leahy of Parklands who passed away on Sunday, the day after his daughter's wedding.

The former Wexford Wanderers' rugby player who worked in WB Nunn for many years until his retirement, is survived by his beloved wife Dympna; his daughters Orla, Elaine, Niamh, Emma and Shelly; his brother Fergus and sister Mary; his grandchildren; his sons-in-law and his extnded family and many friends.

He will repose at Mackens Funeral Home in Distillery Road today (Tuesday) from 3 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 12 noon in Rowe Street Church, followed by burial in St. Ibar's Cemetery, Crosstown.
