The N25 New Ross Bypass JV team held a fundraiser in aid of Pieta House back in October at the Brandon House Hotel, which coincided with World Mental Health Day, raising more than €8,000 for the life saving charity.

Pieta House graciously assisted the company by sending a representative, Tom McEvoy, to give a talk on mental health awareness and suicide prevention. The fundraiser kicked off with a bake sale and dozens of sumptuous homemade cakes and bakes were generously provided by the N25 NRJV staff and purchased by the site operatives. Project sub-contractors also donated prizes which were raffled off on the day, helping to raise even more funds for the more than worthy cause. Over €8,000 was raised by the NRJV employees for Pieta House. The presentation of the money raised was held in the Waterford branch of Pieta House on February 20.
