Ramsgrange: Family Support - A new family support drop-in service will take place at South West Wexford Family Resource Centre, on the first Wednesday of every month from three to 4.30pm. No appointment necessary.

Families with young and older children welcome. If you have concerns, need advice or a listening ear regarding your child/family, then drop in and see Emma, our family support worker. For more information please contact Emma at 051 389418 or 087 3605595.

Fusion Youth Café

Fusion Youth Café is open to young people aged 11-18 living in southwest Wexford. Located in South West Wexford Family Resource Centre, Ramsgrange.

It is open every Wednesday 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. and members can stay for as long or as little as they like. Pick up and drop off service available free of charge.

Activities include pool, table-tennis, video games, arts and crafts, with day trips and camps over the holidays. Tuck shop available at very reasonable prices. Call 087 3607450 or 051 389 418 for more information.

Fethard weekly Bingo

The starting time for the weekly bingo in St Mary's Community Hall, Fethard-on-Sea has changed from 8.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the winter months.

Campile Bingo

There is a weekly game of bingo being held in Campile Hall every Monday night at 8 p.m. in aid of the ongoing development of the hall, with prize money of €1,250 approximately being paid out each night with a rolling in house lotto and Snowball also being played each night. We welcome each and every one senior citizens, young and children alike to try it and enjoy a great night out and win some money into the bargain.

We would like to say a special thank you to the kids at Scoil Mhuire for their beautiful cribs they made. They were fantastic and really enhanced our church. You can collect them now and keep for next year. Well done.

Rosslare Harbour

Environment Group notes

The AGM of the Rosslare Harbour-Kilrane Environment Group will take place in the Railway Social Club at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 10.

Reminder: A WEEE (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment) cage only for small Household electrical goods and a container for the recycling of fluorescent tubes is situated at the back of the Railway Social Club. It is open on Saturday Mornings between 10.00 and 11.30 a.m., weather permitting.

St Mary's GAA

A Happy and healthy New year to all involved in St Mary's Rosslare GAA Thank you for all you help over the last year.

The lotto was not won €9,700. The numbers were 14, 15, 19 and 31 on December 17, 2019. One match-three winner Sheila Lacey. Next draw is next year January 7 in the clubhouse at 8 p.m. and is €9,850.

Our 12 days of Christmas draw was a great success for the club and we wish to thank all who helped and bought tickets. The winners list was as follows. The winner of €5,000 was Rita Byrne (Noonan) Tagoat.

We held our re-union on Sunday, December 29, in Ferrycarrig Hotel, who served up a lovely meal and we thank their hospitality which made the night so enjoyable. Our special guest were county chairman Derek Kent and Liam Og McGovern Wexford county Hurler. We honoured our County Minor winners of 1994 and County Junior Hurling Champions 1999. It was great to see some of our old players who live away. We celebrated our new Junior Hurling Champions of 2019 we medal presentation by Liam Og. We wish to thank Paul Kavanagh and his band Freeway, who played into the wee hours and got us all on the dance floor. We look forward to 2020 and holding our next dinner dance.
