Onwards and Upwards

That is the story of the much-maligned Kilkenny Junior Football competing in the championship of Great Britain. A few weeks ago, they had a big win over Warwickshire and this time round London were put to the sword. In the game played at Nowlan Park the 'Cats' were full value for their 0-13 to 1-6 victory considering that London fielded players from all the traditional football counties in Ireland. The Tullogher-Rosbercon club are well represented on the team with Pat Hartley, Seán Murray and Kevin Hennessy all key players for Kilkenny. Next up is Lancashire and hopes are high that this upward trend in Noreside Football can be maintained in this game which will be played in Manchester.

There are two Safeguarding Representatives for the parish of Rosbercon namely Brid Vereker from Millbanks Close and Anne O'Sullivan from Ballykenna. If you have a safeguarding concern please feel free to contact any of the above. Safeguarding Statements are prominently displayed in all three churches of the parish.
