On Saturday, May 25, we held our upcycling class which was attended by eight members. Some of us brought old chairs or stools, which had seen better days, but anyone who had nothing to upcycle was supplied with a chair by Jill, our teacher. By four o'clock our items of furniture were unrecognisable works of art, and will be proudly displayed in our homes. Many thanks to Jill Bridgeman one of our newest members, a real treasure, and we hope to hold more upcycling classes in the near future. Also thanks to Helen and Ned Furlong for the lovely strawberries we enjoyed after lunch.
