Fresh from a rest period after their tour-de-force Big Maggie show, the New Ross Drama Workshop move on to auditions for their autumn productions of one act plays.

After taking her version of 'The Tinkers Wedding' by John Millington Synge to the All Ireland Finals last year director Peggy Hussey is recruiting a cast to take on the festival circuit. Kate O'Keeffe and Anne Kelly will join with Peggy as directors for the group's evening of theatre ahead and have great plans for their chosen cast. Each director is being asked to read for two plays and then decide between themselves and the committee which is most castable.

For the festival play Peggy Hussey will audition for 'Spectre' And 'Parentcraft',

Local performances will see Kate O'Keeffe who will audition for 'The Death of Me' and 'What would you do if I sang out of tune'.

Anne Kelly will audition for 'If I Can't take it with me' and 'People Like Us'.

Auditions will take place Tuesday night, August 14, in the CBS secondary school at 7 p.m.

The group welcome all to attend to audition for these parts and further information can be found on
