Two taken to hospital after M1 crash near Dundalk
Two elderly people were taken to hospital following a crash on the M1 outside Dundalk on Thursday evening.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two car road traffic incident on the motorway near Junction 18 Dundalk North at 8.43pm.
A garda spokesman confirmed: “A man and a woman, both in their 70s, suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for treatment.”
Investigations are ongoing.
