Regional awards on Friday May 27th
There’s no substitute for the personal touch, and Creative Spark, Dundalk, was buzzing with excitement recently, when the Network Ireland Louth committee met for their first, in person meeting, in over two years.
They had been managing their meetings, during Covid-19, online but were delighted to get back to meeting one another after such a long time.
Marie Fleming, the outgoing 2021 President, handed over the chains of office to Andrea McQuillan, who is the 2022 President.
The event was also an opportunity to get some video footage done of Network Ireland Louth and this was co-ordinated by Estelle Cotter of Green Opal Media, who is also the Membership Officer. The videos focused on the benefits of being a member of Network Ireland Louth and included stories from members about how they have been encouraged and supported in their businesses.
A busy calendar of in-person events is lined up for the year, and the Network Ireland Louth 2022 Celebration and Presentation of Businesswoman of the Year Awards is taking place on Friday May 27th, in the Monasterboice Inn. This will be when the regional winners will be chosen to go forward to represent Louth in the Network Ireland National Awards in September. It will be a great evening of celebration, with MC for the night Karen Devine of Whitelight Events (2021 Award winner) and Bronagh Conlon of Listoke Distillery and Gin School is guest speaker for the evening. Tickets for the event are available through Eventbrite on networklouth.ie/booknow or by contacting president@networklouth.ie
