Julianstown Tidy Towns

Volunteers have been busy planting vegetables in the 4 new raised beds. We have one of our 12 large flower beds weeded and if you have any spare time on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, or perhaps you might like to come along on Saturday morning and give a hand.

We have entered the Supervalu Tidy Towns Competition for this year, as well as An Taisce Green Flag Award for the Community Garden and will shortly be filling out the application form for Meath Co. Co. Pride of Place Awards.

We would really appreciate it if everyone could clean up outside their premises and if you know of a neighbour who might be ill perhaps you could give them a helping hand.

Julianstown Golf Course and Pitch & Putt

Have you got back into the swing of things yet this season? They are open 7 days a week from 8am.

And the best thing is you don’t need to pre-book your round, so you can just drop in when you want to play. Julianstown Golf Course were delighted to welcome a lovely group from Landean, Brittany to our Pitch & Putt Course who are enjoying their long awaited visit to their twinned town of Balrothery.

Glenside Hotel

A sad week this week as we say goodbye to Ann Marie Healy who has been with the Glenside for almost 26 years.

Ann Marie is well known and loved by all our customers and will be sorely missed by the team.

We would like to personally thank Ann Marie for all her help and assistance when we bought the Glenside 6 years ago. She was so welcoming and guided us as new owners in the running of the hotel at that time.

Always seen with a smile on her face no matter how busy the hotel is. Her contagious laugh, good humour and friendly face will be missed so much.

Join us in wishing Ann Marie all the best for her future adventures.

Wishing Ann Marie the very best of luck lots of love Karen, Aogán and all the team xx
