Jay Hughes is a man for future

It was great to read about the success of the Dreadnots under 20s in their opening game in the U20 championship campaign in Clan na Gael park.

They scored a great win and what a performance from Jay Hughes, landing 1-11. However, the squad was key and what a great future there is in store for Jay and the rest of this young panel.

Movember Fundraiser

The lads in the Glen Emmets are taking part in the Movember Fundraiser. This is a very worthy cause that helps the forgotten Irish men by focussing awareness of Men’s Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, Prostate & Testicular Cancer issues. Movember aim to put a stop to many men dying before their time. They are funding over 1,250 groundbreaking health projects that have already had a huge impact and they are hell bent on making it even bigger.

The Glen Emmets lads are all signed up to grow a moustache for November, be it patchy, lopsided, itchy or just plain epic–it doesn’t matter what the moustache looks like, as long as they take on the challenge. Our lads have put up photos on the Movember page showing their efforts so far and there are a few impressive attempts.

Just go onto the Glen Emmets Webpage and click on https://movember.com/t/glen-emmets-gaa send through a donation. If you are not on the internet, contact a member of the Glen Emmets and they can certainly help you out.
