"Bun" a new gourmet ‘restaurant on wheels’ opened to an eager crowd on Friday morning outside Super Valu, in Ardee.

The new venture is the brain child of local woman Jessica Jackson, who dreamed of selling high quality, locally sources food from the Meath and Louth area.

Keeping up with their many orders on the launch day was her second in command, her sister Holly Taaffe of Smarmore.

The launch was attended by Lobinstown based Cllr. Paddy Meade of Meath County Council and Ardee based Cllr. Jim Tenanty of Louth County Council.

The stall, which plans to be at Super Valu Ardee each Friday moving forward, is in the market for other openings and locations.

Cllrs Meade and Tenanty wish them well in their endeavour, and having been the first customers in their queue on the day, could happily testify to the high quality of the food!
