The Kerry Under 13 and Under 15 Girls welcomed South Tipperary to Georgie Callaghan Park for games in Round 2 of the Group stages of the 2021 Gaynor Cups.

First up was the Under 13 game and Kerry went behind just after the water break, but Laura Falvey equalised a few minutes later to leave it at 1-1 at the break. The visitors went 3-1 up before Phoebe O’Shea pulled one back for Kerry who then hit the post and had another effort cleared off the line. In what was a little harsh on the Kerry girls South Tipp hit two late goals to wrap up the win.

The Kerry Under 15s went down 4-0 to a more experienced South Tipperary side.

Both Kerry sides will be at home to Limerick County in the Round 3 Group games on the weekend of October 30/31.

In a friendly game West Cork came to Castleisland and won 3-2 in a cracker. The visitors went 1-0 up before Ciara Kennedy equalised after a great Kerry move. West Cork went 3-1 up as Kerry ran their bench and when they pulled one back it was game on.

Kerry threw everything at West Cork but they just held on to win.
